Having two youth football and cheer organizations over the last few years has been quite challenging for our community, but through continued conversations, dedication, and persistence by both youth organizations, we are happy to announce that Upper Perk now has ONE youth football and cheer program! We are now one organization, the Upper Perk Indians, and will be playing in the ICFL(Inter County Football League).

 

While there are numerous details to be worked out, please know that we are working diligently for you and your young athlete(s) to assure they have a great 2020 season. With all the changes necessary to make this season a success, regardless of where your child has played last season, we are doing our absolute best to make everything as seamless as possible. Although we are not ready to disclose all the changes at this time, here are a couple of things we want to share:​

 

• We will have a registration wait-list on the website coming very soon! With everything surrounding Covid-19, we want to make sure we are as prepared as possible for a 2020 season, without creating hardships for families. This wait-list will allow you to complete the registration form without immediately processing a payment. This allows us to start putting a roster together, and gives us a starting point for equipment and uniforms. 

 

• We are hoping for a 2020 season, and will not know anything until the PIAA(Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association) makes a ruling. If they allow sports to pick back up, we then need to hear from ICFL(our football league), and will move accordingly. All of these meetings and decisions will take place throughout June. Please be patient with us, as we are waiting on the edge of our seats, too! With that being said, we will not be collecting any payments before our tentative date of July 1st. We will update you on any date changes once we have more information.
